Ahmed Suveyb was the first son born to a renown Maldivian senior artist Mr. Sarudhaardhonmanik (dhonbe). Since he has a natural talent for artistic skills. Suveyb was keen to hold on to it. As a young schoolboy, Suveyb used to assist his father in most projects, and was able to get an early experience of the field that he would soon pursue. Suveyb's early success was marked by the several awards that he won from school art competitions.

    Now a commercially established artist in the Maldives. Shuveyb has gained a stand of his own in the field. He has worked on major projects held nationally such as "the Maldivian Story" held in 2000. He has displayed his paintings in several exhibitions in his home country. His works are also highly demanded by resorts. Suveyb is not only recognized as an established artist but he is also known for his amicable nature and socializes well with other artist.
