Involved in visual art from a very young age, Naeem is today recognized by the artist community as a sensitive and imaginative artist. His involment with the art field for the past 20 more years leads him to work in designing and conceptualizing in many projects, government as well public. Illustrating books, cartooning and teaching are some of his passions. Naeem believes that art has to be taken seriously in schools, for the progress and development of the visual art community in the Maldives. Presently, he is working for the National Art Gallery.
